Funny...

I walk pass Mini-Me's bedroom. He is under his sheets with his head covered. I walk down stairs. I see the bar chair fallen on to the aquarium. I pick it up, and go back upstairs to Mini-Me's room.

Conversation goes like this (with Mini-Me still under the sheets):

Mommy: What are you doing?
Mini-Me: Hiding.
Mommy: Why are you hiding?
Mini-Me: Because I want too.
Mommy: Why do you want to hid?
Mini-Me: So daddy can't find me.
Mommy: Why don't you want daddy to find you?
Mini-Me: I don't want him to spank my hinny.
Mommy: Why would daddy spank your hinny?
Mini-Me: Becuase the chair fell.
Mommy: Oh, okay (trying not to laugh)

Little did he know, his cuteness kept him out of trouble, becuase he dented the aqaurium stand pretty bad and dented the bar chair as well. Apparently, he was sitting under the chair which we tell him not to do a lot. I guess we don't know what we are talking about.

Mini-Me being silly

The hubby installed a cat door in one of the doors in the house. The door going down to the scrapbook and laundry room area. The litter box is located down there and we were leaving the door cracked. However, that is not the best idea with the heating and cooling system.
So we decided the cat door was the best idea. Anyway, Mini-Me saw me taking pictures and thought he should be in them. So here you go, the clown of the family.

I'm 3

Mini-Me turned 3 badck on October 5th. I'm a bit behind it you haven't noticed. Anyway, I thought I would just upload a few pictures from his birthday. It fell during fall break, so we were in Mississippi for his birthday this year.
Mini-me got Mack and Chick Hick's semi trucks for his birthday. He loves things that he can stick other things in side of. So of course you have to have Lightening McQueen and Chick Hick to put in the semis.
Ice cream cake... Well, there's really nothing else to be said about that.

Homemade pizza. It's a toss up between the homemade ice cream cake and homemade pizza. Mini-Me seemed to enjoy both.

Build-A-Bear

So for each of the grandchildren's third birthday, Mamaw takes them to Build a Bear. Mini-Me picked the monkey, which is fitting being that Mini-Me is a bit of a Monkey himself. Anyway, he had alot of fun building his monkey, especially the bathing part. He was a bit bothered by the fact that the fake hair drier did not work.
He was a lot of fun to take. Kid-O, crying and whine the whole time. It was too loud according to her. Little Man, well he's a down to business kind of kid. Task, check mark, done. Mini-Me took his time in each spot doing everything they told him to do and having lots of fun with it.
By the way, he doesn't like stickers on his clothes, they go on your belly.

So much to post...

Just some pictures of the kids. They are growing up quick.

Here's Mini-me and Little Man. Mini-me turned 3 October 5th, Little Man turned 5 September 28th. I've got birthday pictures to post, if I make it that far.

Mini-Me, knowing he is cute.

Little Man hamming it up for the camera. He has now entered that phase of goofy smiles. Hope it doesn't last long.

Kid-O and Little Man being silly.

Kid-O, beautiful. We're hoping for awkward, not embarassing teenage years, then into a beautiful women inside and out.

Columbia Zoo

We went to Columbia the day before Skippy's appointment to visit the college, so that we could take all the kids to the zoo. I have to say the Columbia zoo is very nice. Here are a few of the pictures.

Skippy and Mini-Me on the Carousel.

Kid-O feeding the birds. By the way, I am scared to death of birds. I have this irrational fear they are going to pluck my eyes out. I know silly, but go figure, me silly.

The sleeping Grizzly.

The kids rugrats. If they look wet, it's because they are. We got rained on at the zoo. We were very wet by the end of the day. That is the great thing about the zoo though, if it rains, they are still open and the animals are still there.

The pretty elephant. Look at those ears.

Fifteen Minutes of Fame

So, what's a boy to do when his fifteen minutes of fame in life is at the age of 2?

Notice in the background, Little Man is flirting with a pretty 7 year old girl. He obviously likes them older and pretty. If you double click on the picture you can see Little Man better and my comments.

First Barber Shop Visit

Mini-Me made his first trip to the barber shop Saturday, for his first real big boy cut. So here is the before picture:

Here is right after Floyd the barber started cutting his hair. And yes, his name is really Floyd. HAHA.

Here is the finish cut. I did not like it at first, because it makes him look too much like a little boy than a baby.

It is growing on me now though. I am sure I will grow to love it.

Sleeping on the Job...

Have you ever fallen asleep at the worst time? In church, at work, during a meeting,

or

better yet on the toilet?

Well Mini-Me is not taking well to this whole potty training thing. Yesterday, he pooped in his pants again, so I went to put him on the potty. After ironing two shirts, this is what I came back too.

Notice he is holding on for dear life?

I got him off the toilet, put him on the floor, cleaned him up, all the while he was sleeping.

When he woke up, he told his Sissy, "I fall off potty." Yep, that is what he thinks happened. So I was hoping for something funny to blog, I think I got it. This is when kids are just down right fun.

Not Again...

Potty Training...I hate it.

Kid-O was horrible, it took three years to fully potty train her.

Little Man, very good, just a few short weeks.

Mini-Me, right now, he is not cooperating at all. We will see, today starts week two of underwear only. Lots of prayer for Mommy is required.

Just thought he was looking too cute.

Alabama Snow

So Sunday, the kids got to play in a little bit of snow. They went out while it was snowing, which was probably for the best because it melted pretty quick. We got about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of snow. Not quite enough for a snowman; however, there was enough for them to try and throw snowballs at me through the glass door.

One person snowball fight.

Little Man looks cold.

Just copying his sister. That is what he does.

Almost Done...

Mini-Me has been in Tennessee since Tuesday of last week. We thought it best for him not to be here while Little Man was recovering from surgery. How do you get a two year old to understand that you can't jump on top of the four year old laying on the living room floor. Anyway, he will be back Wednesday of this week, with a surprise. The Hubby and I bought him a bed this weekend, so his room is almost done.

I still have to put the red and blue strips on the walls in his room, but otherwise it is finished. I have to thank Going Goofy though. I have never been the consignment shop type of person, but I have learn to appreciate what you just might find in one. I found this set of bunk beds in a consignment shop here in town a few weeks ago for a good price and they are really sturdy; which I love. Anyway, we got the whole set, with mattresses and bunkie boards for under $500.00. The hubby and I thought it was a great deal. Mini-Me does not need bunk beds, but we thought having the one extra bed was a good idea.

Little Man gave his airplane quilt to Mini-Me for the top bunk, so that the room looks like what their old room would have looked like. Little Man opted for a solid navy blue corduroy quilt, with solid red sheets for his room. I will take pictures and show you after the quilt comes in. Little Man and I went yesterday and picked out his sheets. He got a set of red sheets for Mini-Me too. Their rugs finally came in as well. I ordered them at the end of December; they have been on back order. Kid-O's rug should be here today, so I can get her room painted now. I will post pictures when I get it done. I think it will look really good. We are going with brown and pink this time.

Just thought him cute...

I still have not been able to get a routine down for Mini-Me's nap time. So he sleeps whenever he can.

This evening it was on the chaise, while I was playing Mario Kart. He was playing with the tractor and fell asleep. Cute don't you think?

Green Mountain

Saturday, the boys and I went up to Green mountain. We had been told by several people that we should venture up there. Since Kid-O and the hubby were gone on their cave trip with Indian Princess, the boys and I decided to venture. It was nice up there. Lots of trails to hike and walk on, a small lake, and a large picnic area. It was nice, and we spent a couple hours walking around and of course taking pictures. I thought I would share some of the best and funniest of them all. Here are our crazy boys.

We were having a hard time getting Little Man's hat straight. I have several pictures in a row where the location of the hat is slightly different, but never straight. Go figure, I can't get it straight.

I love this picture; however, I can't use it. I was off on my lighting a bit. If you look at Mini-Me's left cheek, you can see the flash mark.

Mini-Me looking serious, like the hubby.

He posed for this one himself. I did not set him up like this.

Getting a two year old to look at the camera is a difficult task.

Little Man is getting into the posing phase. I like it though.

Just being down right silly.

Adorable.
